In 2024, ministries, branches and localities across the country have made great efforts in implementing national programs, plans and strategies on digital transformation. Vietnam rose to 71st place out of 193 countries on the United Nations e-Government rankings, up 15 places compared to 2022.
The development of digital government continues to be completed in an online and database-based direction. The rate of online records in the whole province reached 45%, an increase of 2.5 times compared to 2023...
Regarding Project 06: There have been 690 tasks assigned by the Government, the Prime Minister, and the working group in directives, resolutions, and conclusion notices; of which nearly 350 tasks have been completed; nearly 120 tasks have been regularly implemented. The rate of digitization of records and results of administrative procedure settlement at the local level has reached over 67%; 33 localities have basically completed digitization of land data...
In Dien Bien province, of the 21 targets set for digital transformation implementation in 2024, 19 targets have been completed and exceeded the plan; the targets and tasks of Project 06 in the province reached over 98%. According to the Digital Transformation Index (DTI) in 2023, Dien Bien ranked 24th out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide; up 9 places compared to 2022.
Concluding the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Chairman of the National Committee on Digital Transformation, acknowledged and commended the efforts of ministries, branches, localities and enterprises in implementing digital transformation and Project 06. The Prime Minister requested ministries, branches and localities to promptly issue digital transformation programs and plans for 2025. Accordingly, the development of digital transformation plans must be clear about people and tasks; must be comprehensive, comprehensive and comprehensive in all sectors and levels in accordance with world trends and people's needs.
