Organizing the "Little Soldiers of Dien Bien" Festival flexibly, suitable for each locality

Attending the program were the Presidents of the Council of the Young Pioneers of 30 districts, towns and cities; more than 300 teachers working as General Leaders of the Young Pioneers of secondary schools in the city and more than 1,000 children of the Young Pioneers Union of Cau Giay Secondary School.

At the festival, in the form of dramatization, excellent students and team members participated in 3 contents: The experience part "We practice being soldiers"; the performance part "Shining heroic examples"; the introduction part of the creative model "Children of the Capital in the new era".

The contests are an opportunity for students to demonstrate their understanding of the history of the nation's resistance war against the French, the great significance of the Dien Bien Phu Victory; the life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh, General Vo Nguyen Giap and typical heroes in the Dien Bien Phu campaign.

Speaking at the festival, Distinguished Teacher Le Kim Anh, Principal of Cau Giay Secondary School, said that in recent days, the school's students have enthusiastically participated in many activities, such as: Painting, online contests to learn about the Dien Bien Phu campaign, model design contests, etc. The festival has ignited in the students a spirit of enthusiastic learning and training.

The City Youth Union Council commended and rewarded outstanding team members who achieved the title "Little Soldier of Dien Bien"

Launching 7 weeks of peak competition, Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union, Chairman of the City Youth Union Council Dao Duc Viet suggested that, immediately after the pilot model, 100% of junior high school teams across the city will organize the "Dien Bien Young Soldier" Festival in a suitable and flexible manner according to the conditions of each locality; ensuring widespread propaganda and in-depth education among children in the capital; attracting 100% of team members and students to participate. At the same time, the teams continue to promote emulation movements, create many good models, creative ways of doing things, strive, practice, compete to achieve achievements to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory.

Within the framework of the festival, the City Youth Union Council commended and rewarded 15 collectives and 15 individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing model projects and 70 excellent team members who achieved the title of "Dien Bien Young Soldier".
