In recent times, relevant sectors of the province and localities have coordinated to organize many training courses to guide and support enterprises, cooperatives, cooperative groups, and farming households on skills to bring agricultural products to e-commerce platforms. By October 2024, the whole province had about 600 enterprises, cooperatives, production, processing, and trading establishments of agricultural products and food products participating in promoting and selling on e-commerce platforms: Voso.vn, posmart.vn, lazada, shopee, tiki... with more than 1,050 products of all kinds. By bringing products to e-commerce platforms, it has contributed to promoting the consumption of safe agricultural products and food in the province and helping enterprises and cooperatives increase their average sales by 15-20%/year.
According to statistics from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, on average, each year the province produces 1.57 million tons of food; 688,800 tons of vegetables and beans of all kinds; 350,000 tons of fruit; 986,000 tons of sugar cane; 181,041 tons of corn; 310,000 tons of fresh meat; 310 million poultry eggs; 54,000 tons of cow's milk; exploitation output, aquaculture output of 214,500 tons of seafood... To boost the consumption of agricultural products, people, businesses, and production cooperatives are actively applying information technology and digital platforms, social networks to promote products in the domestic and export markets.
