Promoting development for rural industrial establishments

DNO - On November 24, the Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion (Department of Industry and Trade) organized the acceptance and handover of machinery and equipment (phase 1) under the 2023 Industrial Promotion Program to production establishments and beneficiary enterprises in the city.

In this handover, the Industrial Promotion Program supported machinery and equipment for 9 production facilities and enterprises under the local industrial promotion program with a total investment of more than 10 billion VND. Of which, the industrial promotion fund supported more than 1.86 billion VND, and the capital contributed by enterprises was more than 8.13 billion VND.

Specifically, the Industrial Promotion Program supports 2 enterprises to build pilot models on applying cleaner production in industry and 7 units to build demonstration models, transfer technology and apply advanced machinery and technical advances in industrial production; produce handicrafts, souvenirs and tourism products.

The Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion recommends that beneficiaries continue to promote and effectively exploit supported machinery and equipment, actively invest and develop to improve production capacity. At the same time, units continue to research technical features, train people to operate equipment and carry out regular maintenance regimes to ensure the most effective exploitation of equipment.

Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Nguyen Thi Thuy Mai said that in the coming time, the department hopes that the units receiving the capital will promote the effectiveness of the supported machinery and equipment, thereby improving production capacity, creating competitive products, producing cleaner products and contributing to the overall economic development of the city.
