Every week, from Tuesday morning to Saturday afternoon, the Provincial Library opens its doors to welcome people to read books, newspapers, magazines, etc. and borrow books to take home. There are reading rooms for books and newspapers suitable for all ages and needs of people.

Notably, the Children’s Room is designed with an open space and equipped with cushioned chairs (bean chairs) so that both parents and children can sit together and read books. Every Saturday, the Children’s Room welcomes many families who bring their children to visit, read and borrow children’s books.

In addition, the Provincial Library also has a collection of books and reference materials on geography, history, and culture of Dong Nai province and neighboring localities. This is a valuable source of comprehensive materials, meeting the reference and research needs of students and postgraduates.

Currently, the Provincial Library has more than 117 thousand books. To manage books scientifically and thoroughly, the Provincial Library staff will handle basic steps such as: classifying by content, author, genre, size, row, shelf... (all have their own codes). Through this code system, the librarian will know the location of the book and the time it was borrowed.
