At the meeting, Chairman and General Director of the Military Industry and Telecommunications Group, Major General Tao Duc Thang reported on the implementation results of the T-09 program and a number of key tasks assigned by the Party, State, Central Military Commission, and Ministry of National Defense in the past time to enhance the country's defense potential.
Specifically, Viettel has mastered system design, system integration and core technologies of high-tech defense products, successfully produced and delivered a number of strategic products for military equipment.

Products researched and developed by Viettel, especially strategic products, have been and will contribute to creating the foundation for building a proactive, self-reliant, dual-purpose, and modern Vietnamese defense industry; promoting internal strength as the decisive factor; closely connecting and becoming the spearhead of national industry.
