These are three draft laws according to the program, which will be considered and approved by the National Assembly in the second phase of the fifth session. At the meeting, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly listened to Chairman of the National Defense and Security Committee Le Tan Toi present draft reports on a number of issues explaining, accepting and revising the three draft laws after receiving comments from National Assembly deputies in the first phase of the fifth session.

Regarding the Civil Defense Law Project, this is a broad-scoped law project, related to many areas of social life. Delegates gave their opinions on reviewing the draft law so that it does not overlap but complements other related laws. When the National Assembly passes it, the law will come into effect and help improve the effectiveness of civil defense work.

Regarding the draft Law on Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Two Laws on Entry and Exit, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly also agreed with a number of contents that the Committee on National Defense and Security had received and revised to complete the draft law, contributing to continuing to reform administrative procedures, creating favorable conditions, and attracting more foreigners to enter Vietnam.

* Also on the afternoon of June 14, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly gave opinions on the draft Resolution on the results of thematic supervision of "Mobilization, management and use of resources for Covid-19 prevention and control; implementation of policies and laws on grassroots health and preventive medicine". The Standing Committee of the National Assembly proposed to clearly list the draft laws submitted to the National Assembly for promulgation to amend, supplement and perfect regulations related to the fields of grassroots health and preventive medicine. Delegates also proposed to ensure the feasibility of relevant regulations on: Operation of the district health center model, roadmap for increasing health insurance premiums and responsibilities of agencies; on the periodic deadline for the Government to report to the National Assembly on the results of implementing the contents specified in the resolution...
