Ba Don town has 118 outstanding young men joining the army.

(Quang Binh Portal) - In the joyful and exciting atmosphere of the first days of the New Year, on the morning of February 14, 2025, together with the whole country on the Military Service Day, the Party Committee and People of Ba Don town solemnly held the 2025 military enlistment ceremony, sending off 118 outstanding young men of the homeland to perform military service and join the Public Security service.

Attending the ceremony were comrade Doan Ngoc Lam, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of leaders of departments, branches, units and a large number of local people.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee shook hands and gave instructions to new recruits before leaving for military service.

In 2025, Ba Don town will deploy military recruitment with close coordination between all levels, sectors, local authorities, the Fatherland Front and political organizations, especially the advisory role of the Military agencies, Military Service Councils at all levels, basically completing the military recruitment task in 2025, achieving the quality and targets assigned by the province. This year, Ba Don town has 118 young people joining the army, of which 38 are Catholics.

The 2025 military enlistment ceremony in Ba Don town took place solemnly and meaningfully, marking a new beginning for the new recruits on their journey to fulfill their sacred duty to the country. Besides the excitement of the new recruits, the atmosphere of the Military Enlistment Day also recorded the emotional moments of families and relatives when seeing their children off.

After the military handover ceremony, the new recruits of Ba Don town were assigned to the following units: Command of Region 3 - Navy; Artillery Brigade of Military Region 4; Provincial Border Guard Command; Regiment 996 - Quang Binh Provincial Military Command; Provincial Police.

With high will and determination, the new recruits will continue the tradition of their heroic homeland, train, mature and be ready to devote themselves to the cause of defending the Fatherland.
