(BTNO) - In 2025, Go Dau district will continue to implement the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program with the goal of developing the rural economy, increasing people's income and promoting specialty products associated with local culture.

Bau Don durian products (Go Dau district) meet 4-star OCOP standards.

According to the plan, Go Dau district will synchronously deploy solutions, from completing products registered to participate in OCOP to supporting producers in improving product quality, improving packaging, labels and expanding consumption markets. The district strives to recognize at least 3 OCOP products with 3 stars or more and re-recognize 2 expired products.

To effectively implement the program, management agencies will organize training for production facilities, and at the same time carry out product evaluation and classification according to clear criteria. In addition, the district will also promote trade promotion activities, promote products through fairs, exhibitions and e-commerce channels to connect OCOP products with consumers.

Go Dau district recognizes OCOP standard products in 2024 in the area.

Up to now, the whole district has 14 products granted OCOP certificates, of which 1 product has achieved 4 stars and 13 products have achieved 3 stars.

The OCOP program not only helps increase the value of agricultural products, but also contributes to protecting and promoting traditional cultural values, creating a strong change in rural economic development, improving the lives of people in Go Dau district.
