Meanwhile, the National Economics University directly admitted 183 candidates who won first, second, and third prizes in international excellent student competitions, national excellent student competitions, and first prize in the 2023 National Science and Technology Competition for high school graduation.

Faced with this information, some people wondered why students who have not graduated from high school are called admitted. From there, it is believed that using the concept of admitted for any candidate who has not graduated from high school is a violation of regulations.

Accordingly, the admission process includes many stages: receiving direct admission applications, announcing admission results, confirming admission, enrolling, officially deciding on admission and recognizing candidates as students of the school. When enrolling, candidates must submit all documents, including a high school diploma or high school graduation certificate (if they do not have a diploma yet).

Professor Nguyen Huu Tu, Rector of Hanoi Medical University, also said that according to Plan 923/QD-BGDDT issued by the Ministry of Education and Training on March 30, July 5 is the last day that universities must announce the results of direct admission. The decision on recognizing candidates admitted to the regular university program under direct admission of Hanoi Medical University shows the results of that direct admission. However, after candidates enroll at the school, they will have the official admission decision.

Mr. Pham Nhu Nghe, Deputy Director of the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training), also said that the announcement of direct admission results by universities at this time is in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training on the university admission schedule for 2023.

However, having your name on this admission list does not mean that you have officially been admitted. To receive the official admission decision, schools must continue to carry out many steps in the review process; including the admission confirmation step which lasts more than 1 month, ending after all students have received their high school graduation exam results. After that, students must enroll in school, only when they enroll, will they be officially admitted.
