To remove difficulties and obstacles to complete the project in September 2025 as planned, Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee Nguyen Duc Tho requested the investor and contractors to focus on human resources, vehicles, machinery, materials and equipment to speed up the progress.

In addition, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Hai Phong City regularly inspects and guides investors and contractors implementing the project to take preventive measures during the rainy and stormy season, ensuring the safety of people and property. The Department of Planning and Investment presides with the City's Department of Finance to study the plan to adjust the structure of project investment capital.

The Nam Dinh Vu sea dyke project has a total length of nearly 13 km with a total investment of VND 2,284 billion. This is a historical project associated with the development of the Port City. The project started in November 2022.

It is expected that after the dike is completed and put into use, it will contribute to ensuring the safety of about 2,000 hectares of reclaimed land to build the Southern Industrial Park of Dinh Vu Peninsula, promoting investment attraction and creating jobs for more than 100,000 workers. At the same time, it will ensure the safety of the entire southern coast of Dinh Vu Peninsula.
