Deputy Inspector General of the Government Le Sy Bay has just chaired the announcement of the decision on the inspection of state management of irrigation, dikes and natural disaster prevention and control at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
According to Decision No. 786 of the Government Inspector General, the inspection of state management of irrigation, dikes and natural disaster prevention and control at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development will take place within 60 working days at the unit from the date of announcement of the inspection decision.
The Decision also clearly states that the inspection period is from January 1, 2028 to December 31, 2023. When necessary, relevant contents can be inspected before or after the inspection period.

Speaking at the announcement of the decision, Deputy Inspector General of the Government Le Sy Bay requested the Inspection Team to implement a scientific and methodical manner, with specific, focused and key work programs and plans. In addition, members of the Team must strictly follow the regulations on speaking and information confidentiality.
The Deputy Inspector General of the Government requested that relevant units of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development should reflect on difficulties and obstacles in terms of mechanisms for the inspection team to grasp. During the inspection process, if it is deemed necessary to adjust the inspection content, it should make recommendations to the team for study and consideration of appropriate adjustments.
Mr. Le Sy Bay also requested relevant units to prepare documents and files, assign focal points to work with the inspection team according to the established plan; pay attention to the speaking regulations, and strictly comply with regulations on protecting state secrets.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Hoang Hiep affirmed that the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development strictly complies with the inspection decision.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hiep also assigned relevant units under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to proactively provide documents when requested by the Inspection Team.
