(HQ Online) - In order to create an exciting atmosphere in response to Youth Month 2024, to celebrate the 1984th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung uprising and the 114th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2024), from March 9 to 17, 2024, the Standing Committee of the Central Agencies Youth Union organized the fourth Women's Football Tournament in 2024.

The Football Tournament attracted 10 teams, with nearly 150 female athletes, including 9 teams from units under the Central Agencies' Youth Union (Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences; Ministry of Science and Technology; Ministry of Information and Communications; Vietnam Television; Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; Ministry of Planning and Investment; Ministry of Finance; Central Vietnam Women's Union; Ministry of Home Affairs) and 1 team from the sponsor (Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank)).
2024 is the first year that the Women's Football Team of the Youth Union of the General Department of Customs was established, and is also a representative of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Finance participating in the tournament.

Athletes from the branches and inter-branch unions in the General Department of Customs, with enthusiasm, participated enthusiastically, contributing to creating good plays and beautiful competitions on the first day of participating in this tournament.
The Women's Football Tournament of the Central Agencies is an annual tournament organized to promote the movement of health training, enhance solidarity and exchange between cadres, union members and youth in the Central Agencies; thereby contributing to creating motivation to compete and successfully complete the political tasks of agencies and units.
