Establishment of Tan Xuan General Service Cooperative (Ham Tan)

On the morning of November 3, 2023, Tan Xuan General Service Cooperative (Ham Tan) was established in Tan Xuan commune. Attending the ceremony were Ms. Tran Thi Kim Thoa - Vice President of the Provincial Cooperative Union, representatives of the District Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, leaders of the People's Committee, unions of Tan Xuan commune and members participating in the cooperative.

Tan Xuan General Service Cooperative was established with 18 members, charter capital of 1 billion VND. Registered business lines are: fertilizer trading services, agricultural materials trading services, agricultural products trading services, agricultural product harvesting and transportation services, science and technology transfer services, cultivation services, household goods trading services, construction services. Head office is in Da Mai 1 village, Tan Xuan commune, Ham Tan district.

At the founding conference, the members of the Cooperative discussed and unanimously approved the Cooperative Charter and the Production and Business Plan of Tan Xuan General Service Cooperative. At the same time, the conference elected a Board of Directors consisting of 3 members, Mr. Ngo Duc Tan was elected by delegates to hold the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director of the Cooperative. This is the second cooperative established in Ham Tan district.

The general goal of the cooperative is to link to provide input services related to production to members at reasonable prices and good quality; support members in consuming agricultural products; provide agricultural services to create income for members in the cooperative. Help farmers feel secure in production, stabilize income, contribute to the locality in developing the rural economy, building new rural areas.
