Ukraine's S-300 destroyed after precision strike
SF has just released a video showing the moment the Russian military airstrikes the S-300 air defense system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine deployed near the city of Apostolovo in the Dnepropetrovsk region. The video shows a tactical ballistic missile, most likely the 9M723 fired by the Iskander-M system, exploding on the radar vehicle, the 9A83-1 transportable launcher (TELR) and the 9S32 Grill Pan attack radar. The S-300 system was destroyed by the explosion of the ballistic missile.
Before the start of the Russian special military operation, Kiev forces had about 100 batteries of S-300P, S-300PT, S-300PS and S-300V1 in service. During the first few months of operation, the country received an additional S-300PMU complex from Slovakia.
Several Ukrainian S-300 systems have been destroyed, damaged or captured by the Russian military since the start of the Russian special military operation.
The Russian military has stepped up attacks on Russian air defense systems in the special military operations zone over the past few months.
Ukraine’s air defense capabilities continue to decline despite massive support from the United States and other allies. Russian forces continue to launch attacks on targets across the country.
Russian artillery destroys Vampire system
Earlier, the Russian army destroyed the Ukrainian Vampire system in the Belgorod region. According to AVP, the artillery units of the Russian forces successfully destroyed the Vampire multiple launch rocket system produced by the Czech Republic. This is the Vampire system used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to attack the territory of the Belgorod region. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the exact coordinates of the location of the Ukrainian Vampire system were determined by Russian intelligence, after which the target was attacked with the Grad system.
The effective actions of Russian artillery also extended to the destruction of camouflaged firing positions and ammunition depots of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. These actions were part of a broader operation aimed at neutralizing the threat posed by the Ukrainian military shelling of populated areas of Russia in the border region.
The elimination of the Czech Republic's Vampire system was a significant success in reducing the artillery threat to the Belgorod region. This demonstrates the effectiveness of the Russian military in detecting and destroying enemy artillery weapons.
