Implementing Regulation No. 11 of the Politburo stipulating the responsibility of Party leaders in receiving citizens, having direct dialogue with citizens and handling their reflections and recommendations, on January 15, at the Provincial Citizen Reception Office, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, listened to reports and directed the handling of a number of complaints and recommendations from citizens in the area. Also attending were Comrade Pham Duc An, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Van Anh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.
At the meeting, the Provincial Citizen Reception Council and relevant departments and branches reported on the results of handling a number of complaints and petitions from citizens. Among them was the case of Mr. Dang Thai Doan, residing in Zone 2B, Hong Hai Ward, Ha Long City, who complained about not having his land use fee exemption or reduction resolved under the regime for people with revolutionary contributions.
In directing the settlement of this case, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, requested the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the Department of Finance and Ha Long City to continue reviewing the provisions of current laws. At the same time, refer to the handling methods of some localities for similar cases to advise on a plan to completely resolve the content of citizens' complaints. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also requested that in the process of receiving and resolving complaints and petitions of citizens, departments, branches and localities must pay special attention to and completely resolve the content of petitions and complaints of families of people with revolutionary contributions and families of policy beneficiaries. Ensure early stabilization of people's lives as well as good implementation of gratitude, repayment and policies for people with revolutionary contributions.
To improve the effectiveness of regular citizen reception activities, the Provincial Party Secretary requested relevant agencies and units to study and supplement the content of reception and resolution of issues related to organizations and enterprises. Thereby, creating an additional information channel for organizations and enterprises to reflect difficulties and problems in production and business activities. Based on the information collected, the province will have timely solutions, contributing to promoting production and business activities in the area.
On the same day, the Provincial Citizen Reception Council received and directed specific solutions for a number of complaints and petitions from citizens in the area. Among them was the case of Mr. Ha Luu Thao, residing in Zone 4, Hong Ha Ward, Ha Long City, who petitioned that his family's residential land was located in the traffic planning of the residential area planning on both sides of Minh Ha - Ha Tu street, which had not been done for many years, affecting his family's life.
The Provincial Citizen Reception Council requested the People's Committee of Ha Long City to promptly resolve issues related to planning work, especially suspended planning that affects people's lives, and have a definitive solution to ensure compliance with legal regulations.
