Speaking at the opening of the Program, comrade Dinh Ngoc Tan, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Government Inspectorate, said that with the consent of the Party Committee and the Leadership of the Government Inspectorate, the Youth Union of the Government Inspectorate organized the program "Training on skills of receiving citizens, handling petitions, resolving complaints and denunciations for union members and youth of the Central Agencies in 2024", this is an event in response to the Vietnam Law Day on November 9 and towards celebrating the 79th anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnam Inspectorate on November 23.

Recognizing that the work of receiving citizens, handling petitions and resolving complaints and denunciations is one of the important tasks of state agencies and the entire political system. Accordingly, the capacity, skills and qualifications of cadres doing the work of receiving citizens and resolving complaints and denunciations are the "key" factors to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of this important work.

The Secretary of the Youth Union of the Government Inspectorate said that training in professional skills and techniques for receiving citizens, handling petitions, resolving complaints and denunciations aims to improve the quality and sense of responsibility of cadres and civil servants and strengthen discipline and administrative discipline in serving the people, ensuring strict implementation of legal regulations on receiving citizens, handling petitions, resolving complaints and denunciations. Thereby promptly handling arising situations, especially for cases of receiving citizens with complaints and denunciations of many people, complicated, urgent, prolonged, ensuring social order and safety.

With that meaning, the Program is an opportunity for union members and young people to continue to apply and carefully study the regulations to advise and propose leaders to resolve petitions promptly and legally, avoiding the situation of beating around the bush, shirking responsibility, causing trouble for the people; proactively grasp the situation and resolve it right at the grassroots level.

Accordingly, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Government Inspectorate, Dinh Ngoc Tan, hopes that with their experience, the Speakers will also openly share their professional knowledge and practical experience, thereby helping the Union members and young people better understand the methods, procedures and issues to note in implementing and performing assigned tasks.

At the Program, Comrade Nguyen Hong Diep, Head of the Central Citizen Reception Committee, conveyed to the delegates attending the Program the skills of receiving citizens, handling petitions, resolving complaints and denunciations, which are: Overview of citizen reception, handling petitions, complaints, denunciations, recommendations and reflections; Overview of the work of handling petitions; complaints, denunciations; recommendations and reflections; Skills of receiving citizens at the grassroots level and some common mistakes when receiving citizens; Guidance, explanation, handling some difficulties and problems in the work of advising on handling petitions; complaints, denunciations; recommendations and reflections.

At the end of the Program, the Government Inspectorate Youth Union sent to the representatives of the youth unions of the units a monograph book "Reflecting people's recommendations and the government's responsibilities" edited by comrade Nguyen Quoc Van, Director of the Institute of Strategy and Inspection Science.
