Life & Law Magazine ensures accuracy and responsiveness

According to the Report on the Summary of Work in 2023 and Implementation of Tasks and Directions in 2024 of the Vietnam Lawyers Association, presented at the Central Executive Committee Conference held on December 28 in Da Nang City, the Association's information, propaganda, press, publishing and scientific research work is one of the works that has achieved many outstanding results.

The Party Central Committee and the Central Executive Committee of the Association have promptly directed and guided the press and publishing agencies and the Central General Information Portal of the Association to perform well their assigned tasks, actively participating in propagating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and the country's socio-economic development policies to cadres, members and people.

Events - Life & Law Magazine ensures accuracy and promptness of information — Member of the Central Standing Committee of the Vietnam Lawyers Association, Editor-in-Chief of Life & Law Magazine Nguyen Tien Thanh spoke at the 18th Conference of the Party Delegation - Standing Committee of the Vietnam Lawyers Association, term XIII (2019-2024).

In particular, focus on disseminating the Party and State's guiding documents on the work of the Vietnam Lawyers Association, namely: Directive No. 14-CT/TW dated July 1, 2022 of the Politburo on continuing to strengthen the Party's leadership over the Vietnam Lawyers Association in the new situation and documents of the Central Committee, Party committees, local authorities, ministries and branches on thoroughly grasping and implementing this Directive; Resolution No. 27-NQ/TW dated November 9, 2022 of the 13th Party Central Committee on continuing to build and perfect the Socialist rule of law State of Vietnam in the new period.

According to the Report, the Association's press and publishing agencies have spent a lot of time promoting the activities of the Vietnam Lawyers Association and its branches nationwide.

Notable activities include propaganda on the implementation of Directive No. 14 of the Politburo; conferences, seminars, and discussions to contribute opinions on drafts of many legal documents, notably the draft Land Law (amended); activities to celebrate the 68th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Lawyers Association (April 4, 1955 - April 4, 2023); Vietnam Law Day (November 9).

The Association's press units also focus on publishing information about the activities of Party and State leaders. Propagating the commemoration of major holidays and important historical events of the country, political events, notably the sessions of the Central Executive Committee, the 15th National Assembly, etc.

The report also shows that the Life & Law Magazine - Nguoi Dua Tin Phap Luat e-magazine and specialized news and article publishing pages always ensure accuracy and promptness of information; news and articles are increasingly of high quality, oriented to serve the political tasks of the Party, State and Vietnam Lawyers Association.

In 2023, more than 1,000 news and articles on legal propaganda were published in printed and electronic magazines...

Many articles on propaganda, dissemination and legal education in printed and electronic magazines have received feedback from agencies, units and readers, which have had practical effects on the people.

In addition, the Association's General Information Portal continuously updates information on the activities of the Association at all levels, especially the work of participating in law-making, law dissemination, law propaganda and legal aid for the people. Officers of the Bar Associations of many provinces and cities have actively participated in writing articles and reporting on the Association's activities on the General Information Portal of the Vietnam Bar Association.
