Create an environment for union members and young people to practice, contribute and strive to join the Party.

Fully aware of the role and responsibility of being a reliable reserve force of the Party, in recent times, the Youth Union at all levels of Ninh Thuan province has always focused on developing Party members among union members and young people. One of the effective solutions is to build a training environment so that each young person has the opportunity to contribute and grow in all aspects.

Attention to training and education

As of November 2024, the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry in Ninh Thuan has introduced 70 outstanding members who are young cadres, lecturers and exemplary students for the Party Committee of the school to consider admission; as a result, 18 members were admitted to the Party. This is a great effort of the school's Youth Union in training and educating young members to effectively implement the program of Youth Union work to participate in Party building. As a young member admitted by the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry in Ninh Thuan last October, for Hoang Luong Long, a 4th-year student majoring in renewable energy engineering technology at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering - Technology, it has been a process of striving. Long shared: Since I first enrolled in school, I have been determined to study, practice and cultivate myself. Not only focusing on studying well, I also actively participate in movements launched by the School Youth Union and volunteer activities in remote areas through the annual "Green Summer" and "Youth Volunteers for Summer Support" campaigns. In November 2023, I attended a Party awareness training class organized by the School Party Committee and on October 15, 2024, I was honored to be admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam. For me, joining the Party is an important turning point, a premise for me to constantly strive to study and practice to be worthy of the Party's trust as well as help me become more mature and contribute more to society.

Hoang Luong Long, a student at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry in Ninh Thuan, was honored to be admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Together with localities in the province, since the beginning of the year, the Youth Union chapters at all levels in Thuan Nam district have introduced 80 outstanding members for the Party to consider and admit; as a result, 44 comrades were admitted to the Party, accounting for 72.1% of the total number of members admitted in the entire district Party Committee. Comrade Huynh Thi Dieu, Secretary of Thuan Nam District Youth Union, said: With the aim of building a generation of young people who are "both red and professional", with "pure hearts, bright minds, and great ambitions", the District Youth Union always focuses on effective propaganda and education work, suitable to the actual conditions of the locality such as: Organizing and participating in competitions to learn about the Party and the Youth Union; implementing the study and research of the Party's resolutions, policies and laws of the State, resolutions and policies of the higher-level Youth Union. Thereby, creating a healthy playground to help young people practice and mature in all aspects, promptly discovering positive nuclei for the Party.

Variety of training activities

Determining the importance of raising awareness and building the ideal of striving to join the Party for young union members, recently, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has directed 100% of the Youth Union chapters at all levels to effectively implement the campaign "Youth Union members strive to become members of the Communist Party of Vietnam"; at the same time, allocating the quota of young union members admitted to the Party into the criteria for evaluating and classifying the annual work of the Youth Union for district, city and affiliated unions. Innovating the work of propaganda, political and ideological education for young union members. Each unit and organization chooses an appropriate approach to promptly detect, nurture, and introduce outstanding people for the Party to consider admitting through shock, volunteer, companion, and support movements and programs and campaigns such as: "Youth shock, creativity, pioneering economic development and national defense", "Youth pioneering digital transformation", "Youth shock, volunteering for the community", "Youth joining hands to build new rural areas", "Humanitarian blood donation", "Volunteer campaign", "Volunteer Saturday", "Green Sunday", "Repaying gratitude", "When drinking water, remember its source"...

In particular, the work of fostering and developing the Party in schools has always received attention. To create conditions for students to practice and contribute, school youth unions regularly organize political, cultural, artistic and sports activities; carry out construction works and youth work. Along with that, closely follow the model of "Proactive Youth Union 3", attach the criteria of the training program for union members to the implementation of the movements "Two Good", "3 Good Students", "3 Training Students", "5 Good Students". At the same time, promote youth volunteer movements and activities, green summer or be active members of clubs, groups, teams, etc. Thanks to promoting many solutions, as of November 18, 2024, the Youth Union chapters at all levels in the province have trained and introduced to the Party 1,005 outstanding Youth Union members, of which 455 were admitted, accounting for 62.58% of the total number of admitted Youth Union members in the entire Provincial Party Committee. Through monitoring, after admission, the Youth Union members have played a good role in building Party and mass organizations; are the core and pioneering force in studying, researching, working, and producing, actively contributing to the completion of the political tasks of the unit and locality.

Comrade Huynh Huu Phuc, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, said: The Resolution of the 7th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Ninh Thuan province, term 2022-2027, sets a target to strive for the term to introduce 4,500 union members to the Party for consideration of admission and all levels of the union strive to complete the target assigned by the Party Committee on admitting new union members from union members. To achieve the set target, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee continues to direct union organizations at all levels in the province to promote the effective implementation of the campaign "Union members strive to become members of the Communist Party of Vietnam"; promote studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style through specific and practical actions; strongly promote the spirit of "Wherever there is a need, there are youth, wherever there is difficulty, there are youth", volunteering, innovating and being creative, clearly affirming the pioneering and leading role of the youth. Along with that, actively innovate the work of educating political ideology, ethics, and healthy lifestyle for young union members, thereby helping them practice, build the right motivation, strive to join the Party's ranks to constantly promote the exemplary, pioneering, and creative role of the youth, contributing to building the homeland.
