Ms. Nguyen Tan (in Quang Luu commune, Quang Trach district, Quang Binh province) said: "The weather in Quang Binh is quite cold at this time, suitable for growing vegetables, so I take advantage of the land next to my house to grow mustard greens, Malabar spinach and also grow squash, pumpkin... When Tet comes, my children can bring baskets out to pick them to eat hot pot, very convenient".

"My garden grows all kinds of vegetables, they grow lush and green, so during Tet I don't need to decorate the house much because the vegetable garden next door already decorates it. At mealtimes, I go out and pick some to eat with meat and fish dishes.

To have a clean vegetable garden, I say no to pesticides and use chicken manure raised in the garden as fertilizer. If pests appear, I often pound garlic and chili, soak them in alcohol and then use a spray bottle to spray. Since the vegetables are grown at home, I can rest assured to use them, and the food tastes much better," said Mr. Phan Tam (in Quang Thach commune, Quang Trach district, Quang Binh province).
