Representatives of Hoa Phat Group presented gifts to people severely affected by storm Yagi in Bac Ha district.
“The Journey of Love” Preparations for the charity trip were carried out meticulously and methodically at every stage. A series of items were carried out by the Group, from contacting local authorities to review the list according to the set criteria, researching the terrain, roads, and travel routes to ensure safety and convenience, gift-giving plans so that people had to travel the least, to arranging vehicles, accommodation for the whole group, etc. Everything took place smoothly, urgently and scientifically. As soon as they received the notice of registration to participate in the program, the staff of the member companies enthusiastically responded, even assigning vehicles and drivers to support the organization. Nearly 40 employees representing more than 32,000 employees of the Group participated in the gift-giving activities in the locality. Because the volunteer activities are very large, scattered in more than 20 communes and towns in the 3 districts mentioned above, and difficult to travel, the volunteer group of Hoa Phat employees was divided into 5 groups to visit the communes and districts and give gifts directly to the people. Departing at 3:00 a.m. on October 24 at the headquarters at 66 Nguyen Du, Hanoi, the road to Ban Cai and Nam Luc communes, Bac Ha district had many landslides, slippery roads, many potholes and construction sites were renovating the landslides on both sides. Through these roads, the car shook and swayed, making people dizzy, but everyone on the car encouraged each other and believed that if they kept going, they would get there. The distance was no longer important in terms of kilometers, hours, minutes or their own health status, but the goal was that the gifts that the employees of the Group contributed to volunteering would be given to the right people, doing the right work and helping with the right strength.Mr. Ta Tuan Quang, former member of the Board of Directors of Hoa Phat Group and Director of Hoa Phat Refrigeration Company, spoke in Bac Ha district.

“Volunteering is a journey that is not tiring and not far away” Although he has been retired for a long time, Mr. Ta Tuan Quang (former Director of Hoa Phat Refrigeration Company) has “volunteered” to represent the Group’s leadership to join the volunteer group. Few people think that at the age of over 60, this leader can be so energetic. He confided that volunteering is a good thing so there is nothing to hesitate about, even if it means walking or going through the forest, it is okay. Being able to reach the people makes you feel healthier. Moreover, according to Mr. Quang, the Organizing Committee of the volunteer trip has done a very thoughtful and methodical job. Everyone participating in the trip was satisfied and thanked the Group for organizing a meaningful and practical trip bringing the “Journey of Love” to the highland villages.Mr. Ta Tuan Quang, former Director of Hoa Phat Refrigeration Company visited and gave gifts to encourage teachers and students of Thai Giang Pho kindergarten, Bac Ha district...

On the sidelines of the program, the delegation also "took the opportunity" to visit and give gifts to encourage 3 families whose houses were completely collapsed and teachers and students of Thai Giang Pho kindergarten, Bac Ha district. In Lung Phinh commune, Mr. Quang and his accompanying members also visited and gave gifts to 3 families whose houses were completely collapsed, each family received 1 million VND, including a house that had been under construction for 3 years and had not been completed when it was swept away by floodwaters, causing it to collapse. The first time he experienced climbing a mountain slope to visit teachers and students of a kindergarten in Thai Giang Pho commune, Mr. Hoang Ngoc Trung, Hoa Phat Urban Development and Construction Company expressed: I climbed a little bit and felt out of breath, but the children and teachers had to climb up and down every day. The conditions were difficult, but the teachers and students were quite optimistic, and the children were all innocent and naive. The children were happy to see the delegation visiting and receive candy and cakes. It was really touching to witness with their own eyes the lives of people in the border area. I feel lucky and proud to participate in this meaningful trip and hope to have more opportunities to participate in the Group's next volunteer groups.Representatives of Hoa Phat Group's employees give gifts to people in Nam Luc commune, Bac Ha
Tra My, Hoa Phat Household Appliances Company, recounted that on the journey to the highland villages, the working group witnessed a family in Ban Cai still having to set up temporary tents on the hill because their houses had collapsed and been damaged by storms and floods. However, they were all determined to stay in their villages and hamlets, and together rebuild their lives on their homeland. For Mr. Hoang Phan Giap, Hoa Phat Hung Yen Feed Company, this was the first time he had participated in the Group's volunteer group. Mr. Giap saw that the members of the group, although working in different member companies in the Group and meeting each other for the first time, were very friendly and united. No one told anyone, everyone assigned work reasonably and quickly to ensure reasonable hours so that people did not have to wait long. The most important thing was to ensure that all the money contributed by more than 32,000 employees in the Group reached the households on the list accurately and completely. After completing his volunteer mission in Lao Cai, Mr. Nguyen Van Lam, an employee of Hoa Phat Hai Duong Steel Company, also "poetically wrote", summarizing the spirit of Hoa Phat people on this trip:“Put your faith in small things,
Volunteering is a journey that is not tiring and not far away"
