Suni Ha Linh is currently receiving a lot of public attention when participating in the reality show Tread the Wind 2024 in China.
In the first round aired on April 19, Suni Ha Linh performed the song "Just chill". She sang in Vietnamese and Chinese and performed a daring aerial acrobatics. The performance was inspired by the story of Tam Cam with the image of a resilient woman standing up after falling. The performance was rated quite well, scoring 11th out of 36 performances.
Facing public criticism, on the morning of April 24, Suni Ha Linh officially spoke out on her personal page.
Ha Linh was born in 1990 in Ho Chi Minh City. She was born into a family where her parents and older sister are both dancers. Her father is Ngo Dang Cuong - former principal of the Ho Chi Minh City Dance School. The singer has released many music projects that have attracted views on YouTube such as: "Just chill" (106 million views), "Khong ok ma em day roi" (84 million views), "Cam nang" (15 million views), "Thich roi day" (12 million views).
Suni Ha Linh affirmed that the decision to become Vietnam's representative at the program Dap Gio 2024 in China marks a new journey in her career, a journey in which she decides not to be affected by the fear of not being loved if she is herself anymore.
"I made choices that were true to my nature: difficult and reckless. I believe that in such an international competition, the pressure of a contestant from another country is huge. You have no other way to stand out than to be yourself," Suni Ha Linh shared.
She also admitted: "When episode 1 of Dap Gio 2024 aired, it was the first time I understood what public pressure was." Before that, she often made safe choices, so she never had to face negative comments.

However, Suni Ha Linh is steadfast in the path she has chosen: "No transformation is easy and accepted from the beginning. I am mature enough to distinguish between constructive comments and comments that come from the owner's own problems.
However, my team and I are all people with hearts and emotions. When we read negative comments, we can only try our best to maintain a strong mentality and continue to complete our work in this "most difficult competition" in China. Everything is just the beginning, we cannot avoid mistakes but hope to continue to receive everyone's attention."

Treading the Wind (formerly Sisters Who Tread the Wind and Break the Waves) is a top-rated TV show in China. Contestants perform music and dance individually and in groups. The contestants with the highest scores form a new band.
