The National Assembly Chairman noted that each member of the Party Standing Committee and member of the Party Executive Committee must promote a high level of responsibility, set an example, be proactive, creative, innovate working methods, concentrate highly and comprehensively implement assigned tasks.

"The spirit is decisive, resolute, and determined, but you have to be determined to do it to have a product. If you are determined and resolute but do not do it, there will be no product. We must set an example," the National Assembly Chairman emphasized.

He suggested that the National Assembly Party Committee continue to focus on leading and directing the effective implementation of the program of building and perfecting the legal system by 2025 and the direction of General Secretary To Lam on fundamentally innovating the thinking of building laws, considering this a breakthrough in perfecting institutions, creating a premise for the 16th National Assembly.

In the immediate future, it is necessary to focus on preparing to successfully organize the 9th extraordinary session and the 9th and 10th sessions of the National Assembly.

The National Assembly must also strengthen supervision and inspection of the implementation of previously passed laws and resolutions as well as laws and resolutions to be passed at upcoming sessions.

Flexible and responsive to emerging major issues

The National Assembly Chairman requested the National Assembly Party Committee to continue to reorganize the apparatus according to the direction and conclusions of the Central Committee, ensuring that all activities take place continuously, without interruption, and without affecting work; and to direct the amendment and supplementation of laws, resolutions, internal rules and regulations related to the work of reorganizing the apparatus.

"Immediately after the 9th extraordinary session, we will arrange people in agencies and units of the National Assembly; resolve policies after the arrangement; select personnel and officials of the Ethnic Council and committees in accordance with the spirit of Resolution No. 18 of the Central Committee. That is to choose talented people, elite people, and do practical work," Mr. Tran Thanh Man clearly stated.

In addition, the Party Committee of the National Assembly continues to lead and direct innovation in supervisory activities, ensuring comprehensiveness and synchronization, from policy development and planning, implementation organization until the policy is put into practice.

Since then, policies have improved in quality, effectiveness, and substance, demonstrating flexibility and sensitivity to major issues arising in the country's socio-economic life, and of interest to voters and people.

He said that General Secretary To Lam said that the 9th extraordinary session must have a resolution on removing difficulties in the fields of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.

“Currently, I have directly assigned Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai and the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment to coordinate with the Government to amend urgent issues for approval at the 9th extraordinary session to implement Resolution 57,” said the National Assembly Chairman.

He also stated that the Party Committee of the National Assembly must lead and direct the implementation of the National Assembly's political tasks comprehensively and effectively, contributing to the successful implementation of the country's goals, including the target of economic growth of 8% or more, the construction of the Ninh Thuan nuclear power plant...

Another task is to develop and implement a plan to summarize the 15th National Assembly term, organize the election of deputies to the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term...

The National Assembly Chairman believes that the National Assembly Party Committee will thoroughly grasp the direction of the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Party Central Committee to fulfill the tasks of the National Assembly Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term to bring the country into an era of national growth.
