Special art program "50 years of Mobile Police - Glorious Journeys" is coming soon

Sharing about the program, Major General Nguyen Ngoc Thanh, Deputy Commander of the Mobile Police, said that the art program "50 years of Mobile Police - Glorious Journeys" is one of the cultural and artistic activities highlighted in the series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Mobile Police Force's Traditional Day (April 15, 1974 - April 15, 2024). The program talks about the Mobile Police Force from its early days of establishment, through its stages of growth and development until today.

The program can be likened to a “chronicle” of the Mobile Police force expressed in the language of art, the language of the stage with many elaborately staged singing, dancing and music performances. This is also one of the art programs that the Mobile Police Command has focused on investing in, with a large scale, gathering a large number of artists, including many famous artists inside and outside the People's Public Security force participating.

Among the 300 artists and soldiers performing in the program, the number of officers, soldiers and artists from the Mobile Police force is quite large, about 130 people, from the Public Security Ceremonial Group and the Special Police Battalion No. 1. This is the difference of the program, helping the audience understand more about the Mobile Police force through the works, especially the performances performed by the Mobile Police soldiers themselves.

According to Major General Nguyen Ngoc Thanh, during the 50 years of building, fighting and developing the Mobile Police force, officers and soldiers have not been afraid of hardships and sacrifices, upholding their strong will, courage, intelligence, creativity, and solidarity and coordination with other units in the People's Public Security to establish outstanding achievements. Many officers and soldiers of the Mobile Police have become shining examples of revolutionary heroism, brave fighting, and readiness to sacrifice, contributing to further enhancing the glorious tradition of the Mobile Police force.

The program has the participation of many artists inside and outside the People's Public Security Forces.

This art program is not only a tribute, expressing deep gratitude to the officers and soldiers who sacrificed their blood and bones for the Fatherland and the people, but also shows deep gratitude to the relatives of those officers and soldiers. They are the mothers and wives who are responsible day and night, working hard day and night, being a solid rear to encourage officers and soldiers to confidently complete their tasks. The stories about the Mobile Police force performed on stage by the soldiers in the force will bring many emotions to the audience watching the program.

The art program “50 years of Mobile Police – Glorious Journeys” lasts 90 minutes, including 4 chapters: Glorious Journey - Historical Milestones; For a Peaceful Life; Iron Fist in Peacetime; Forever a Faith in the Party. The program is directed by Major General Le Ngoc Chau - Commander of Mobile Police; Colonel, musician Ho Trong Tuan is the Music Director and Artistic Director.

The program gathered many artists and soldiers inside and outside the People's Public Security Forces to participate. The music part alone had 4 musicians: An Hieu, Duc Tan, Ta Duy Tuan, Cao Xuan Dung. The choreographers had 7 artists: People's Artist Thu Ha, Meritorious Artist Thanh Tung, Masters Hai Trong, Trong Huy, Thuy Linh, The Chung, Minh Tan. The program was performed live by more than 300 artists and soldiers from the People's Public Security Ceremonial Group; Special Police Battalion No. 1; the People's Public Security Music, Dance and Dance Theater and the Military University of Culture and Arts. Before the first rehearsal at Ho Guom Theater, the program had 3 days of practice at the Mobile Police Command.

Sharing about the program, Mr. Tran Hai Dang, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Music Institute, said that he and many musicians of the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra who watched the program were surprised and moved. Perhaps for officers and soldiers in the People's Public Security Forces in general, and the Mobile Police Force in particular, the image of a Mobile Police soldier on stage is very familiar, but for audiences outside the force, it will be new and strange.

The image of the Mobile Police soldier is conveyed very vividly on stage, helping the audience feel a regular, elite, modern force, and at the same time understand more about the achievements of the Mobile Police force with the sacrifices, losses, and silent contributions not only of the officers and soldiers but also of their relatives, especially their wives and mothers.

Mr. Tran Hai Dang also said that these contents were conveyed very successfully, especially the performances that required the expression of body language. The audience will have the opportunity to feel more fully when the program is officially performed on the evening of April 13 at Ho Guom Theater.
