After considering the proposal of the Department of Construction on approving the list of social housing construction investment projects in Hoi An and Tam Ky, the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Construction to study the provisions of the Land Law, Housing Law, and Real Estate Business Law effective from August 1, 2024 to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments and branches to review, synthesize, and advise the Provincial People's Committee to review and approve the list of projects according to its authority or submit for comments from competent authorities before approving the list in accordance with regulations. In particular, it is necessary to assess the suitability of the Housing Development Program for the period 2021 - 2030 and the Housing Development Plan for the period 2021 - 2025 that have been approved.
For social housing projects with a land fund of 20% in commercial housing projects, the Department of Construction works with commercial housing project investors to guide the implementation of land handover procedures to localities (if any) to ensure the legal basis for implementing the next procedures.
At the same time, urgently preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches and sectors to study the provisions of the Land Law, Housing Law, Real Estate Business Law effective from August 1, 2024 and guiding documents for implementation to develop and advise the Provincial People's Committee to promulgate regulations on the order and procedures for investment in housing projects, residential areas and urban areas in the province.
Besides, research, advise and propose to the Provincial People's Committee to submit to competent authorities for comments to adjust and supplement the housing development program and plan appropriately before carrying out the next procedures.
