On June 12, the Vietnamese team continued to practice for a series of friendly matches in June.
Coach Troussier always requires the players to practice at very high intensity.
This is the last training session in Hanoi before moving to Hai Phong, so coach Troussier has allowed the players to reduce the intensity.
However, when talking about the recent training sessions of the Vietnamese team, midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai still shook his head in disappointment.
“Coach Troussier’s style of play is very unique and new. Each player will be interested in what he wants from them and the team. Especially everything must be more meticulous.
Pau FC cannot be compared with the Vietnam national team because each coach has a different philosophy.
I cannot compare this coach with that coach. But I have to admit that the training intensity of the Vietnamese team is much heavier than Pau FC,” Quang Hai shared before the afternoon training session on June 12.
Although he did not play regularly for Pau FC, when he returned to the Vietnam national team, the star born in 1997 still made his teammates admire his impressive ball handling ability.
But he also did not understand the lesson in the formation part to practice ball coordination and was reminded by coach Troussier.
“The head coach always wants to convey his intentions and working philosophy to each player. When he doesn’t play much, players will have problems with ball feel or physical strength.
But that's not too big of a problem for me. I'll try to practice to get a place in the squad.
I think there is no star. There is only one star on the shirt. All players are the same, together creating the best team to bring victory," said the star currently playing in Ligue 2.
Returning to the training session on June 12, the French coach continued to let the players practice a lot on coordination and short passing.
On the same day, coach Troussier also announced the list of 30 players for the friendly match with Hong Kong (China) on June 15.
