At a restaurant in the food street (District 3), many technology delivery drivers are waiting to receive food orders from customers. "Since this morning, I have delivered nearly 20 food orders, most of which are vegetarian dishes, with some orders of more than 10 servings. "Today we prepared the dishes very early to serve the customers, because we knew that today there would be a lot of customers. All are made from tofu, seitan... priced from 35,000 - 50,000 VND/portion. "Today, the number of customers has increased 2 - 3 times compared to normal days. Many times, the restaurant has no empty tables. We mobilized 100% of the service staff but many customers still had to wait because it was too crowded" - said an employee of Giac Duc restaurant. |
Many guests who went to the pagoda on the occasion of the full moon of January came to the vegetarian restaurant for lunch. People even served themselves quickly instead of waiting for the staff. |
"The restaurant is crowded but the food is delicious and the prices are reasonable, so my family often comes here. Eating vegetarian food on the Lantern Festival is not only a habit but also helps purify the body" - Ms. Hang (living in District 10) said. |
