NDO - On the morning of February 12, at the National Assembly House, the 15th National Assembly solemnly opened the 9th extraordinary session to consider and decide on many important and urgent issues to serve the requirements of restructuring and streamlining the apparatus, socio-economic issues, state budget and other important issues.


NDO - On the morning of February 12, at the National Assembly House, the 15th National Assembly solemnly opened the 9th extraordinary session to consider and decide on many important and urgent issues to serve the requirements of restructuring and streamlining the apparatus, socio-economic issues, state budget and other important issues.

Attending the opening session were: General Secretary To Lam; former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh; President Luong Cuong; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man; former National Assembly Chairmen Nguyen Van An and Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan; Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu; Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien.

Also attending were leaders, former leaders of the Party and State, members of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Heads, Deputy Heads, National Assembly deputies of 63 National Assembly delegations of provinces and centrally run cities; leaders of central departments, ministries, branches, mass organizations and local leaders.

In his opening speech, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized that this extraordinary session is of great significance, urgently considering and deciding on many urgent issues to serve the revolution of reorganizing and streamlining the apparatus, meeting the very high requirements of the country in the new era, while creating a premise for organizational and personnel work at the 14th National Party Congress; election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
