Previously, during the process of customs procedures, inspection, supervision and control of goods transported by air to the long-distance air cargo warehouse, the Customs force discovered a shipment suspected of containing drugs.
On June 22, the professional units of the Hanoi Customs Department, the Drug Control and Prevention Team and the North Hanoi Customs Branch, presided over and coordinated with PC04 and PC09 (Hanoi Police) to inspect a shipment of goods including: 2 boxes, total weight of about 30 kg.
Suspected drug evidence cleverly hidden at the bottom of cocoa boxes.
As a result, the authorities discovered 10 yellow boxes in each container. Each box contained a plastic bag containing white crystals suspected to be ketamine, with a total weight of more than 19 kg.
Notably, the subjects cleverly camouflaged the packages of evidence at the bottom of cocoa boxes, then covered the bags with a layer of cocoa powder and packaged them sophisticatedly, mixing them with candy and other consumer goods in order to deceive the authorities.
The case is being further processed by the authorities.
