On the afternoon of December 4, information from the Border Guard Command of Long An province said that the authorities arrested two young men transporting more than 10 kg of drugs from Cambodia to Vietnam.

Accordingly, at 5:15 a.m. on November 30, at landmark 186 (My Quy Tay commune, Duc Hue district, Long An province), Long An Border Guard, My Quy Tay Border Guard Station, Southern Drug and Crime Prevention Task Force (Drug and Crime Prevention Department - Border Guard) coordinated with Long An Provincial Police to detect and arrest a young man for illegally transporting drugs from Cambodia to Vietnam.
The arrested person is Huynh Thien Duc (28 years old, residing in Duc Hue district). When checking Duc's luggage, the police discovered 10 nylon bags. Duc confessed that they contained drugs.
Quickly investigating the suspect Duc, the crime-solving force investigated and arrested Vo Chi Bao (24 years old, residing in Duc Hue district). Bao was the person who came to receive drugs from Duc.

During the initial interrogation, Duc confessed that he was hired by an anonymous person to transport drugs from Cambodia to Vietnam for a fee of 20 million VND/kg.
According to the appraisal results of the Criminal Science Institute in Ho Chi Minh City (Institute of Criminal Science, Ministry of Public Security), the 10 nylon bags containing the above mentioned white crystalline substance are drugs, including Methamphetamine and Ketamine. The total weight is more than 10 kg.
