On the afternoon of May 17, Lao Cai Provincial Social Policy Bank Branch coordinated with the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Women's Union, Farmers' Association, Veterans' Association, and Youth Union to organize the launching ceremony of the peak month "Saving money, joining hands for the poor".

The launching ceremony was held online connecting with the Social Policy Bank Transaction Offices of districts and towns in the province.

According to information from the Director of the Provincial Social Policy Bank Branch, the Lao Cai Provincial Social Policy Bank Branch (the Branch) currently has the largest capital source in the Northern mountainous region, with a total credit capital of nearly 4,600 billion VND. In recent times, the Branch has actively mobilized capital sources, including promoting the receipt of entrusted capital from the local budget, mobilizing deposits from organizations and individuals in the market and deposits from members of savings and loan groups, doing a good job of collecting due debts...

The mobilization program "Deposit savings to join hands for the poor" in Lao Cai province takes place from April 10 to December 31, 2024, with the peak period from May 2 to May 31. The deposit receiving locations are the headquarters of the Branch and the headquarters of the District and Town Policy Bank; transaction points in communes, wards and towns on fixed transaction days. The deposit interest rate is equal to the interest rate at the State Commercial Bank.
