(QNO) - At the 5th Session of the 15th National Assembly, Can Tho City Party Secretary Le Quang Manh was elected by the National Assembly to hold the position of Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee and Chairman of the Finance and Budget Committee of the 15th National Assembly.
This afternoon, May 22, under the direction of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, the National Assembly elected members of the National Assembly Standing Committee and Chairman of the National Assembly's Finance and Budget Committee.
With 468/469 delegates participating in the vote in favor (accounting for 94.74% of the total number of National Assembly delegates), the National Assembly passed the Resolution to elect Mr. Le Quang Manh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee to hold the position of Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee and Chairman of the Finance and Budget Committee of the 15th National Assembly.
Mr. Le Quang Manh was born in 1974; hometown is Dai Nghia town, My Duc district, Hanoi. He is a member of the 13th Party Central Committee; professional qualification: Doctor of Economics. He has held the following positions: Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment; Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City; Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Can Tho City, 15th term.
Mr. Le Quang Manh was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Finance and Budget Committee, replacing Mr. Nguyen Phu Cuong, who was dismissed by the National Assembly on the same day.
