The People's Committee of Lien Chieu District (Da Nang City) recently announced the decision to approve the adjustment of the detailed planning 1/500 of the Lang Van Tourism Complex and Resort Urban Area project.
The total investment capital of the above project is nearly 44,000 billion VND.
The project is located in Hoa Hiep Bac ward (Lien Chieu district) and at the foot of Hai Van pass, so the current access is by road and sea, not accessible by vehicle.
According to Dan Tri reporters, many houses in the project area have been demolished a long time ago, after the people of Lang Van moved to another location.
According to the People's Committee of Lien Chieu District, there are currently 9 households that have not received the decision on mandatory inventory for the project. The District has issued a notice requesting the above households to contact the District Land Clearance Board to organize the inventory and carry out related procedures.
A local fisherman said that Lang Van used to be home to many people with leprosy. However, the disease has now been eradicated, so the village has become deserted and almost uninhabited.
Some people, even though they are not here, still raise livestock in a free-range manner. In the photo is a herd of goats being let loose by people in the Lang Van area.
Van village is located close to the sea so some locations have been eroded, causing landslides.

According to the People's Committee of Lien Chieu District, the Lang Van Tourism and Urban Resort Complex project is designed as an international-class eco-tourism and resort complex, as well as a smart urban area with housing and commercial services, along with a social and technical infrastructure system in harmony with the terrain and natural landscape.
When the project was formed, it had a population of about 19,000 people, of which the official population was nearly 18,000 people and the temporary population was about 1,000 people.
Lang Van area is adjacent to the North-South railway, passing through Hai Van pass.
According to the planning of the Lang Van Urban Resort and Tourism Complex project, the boundary scope of the planning adjustment study is limited: the northeast borders the sea and mountains; the northwest borders Hai Van Pass; the southwest borders National Highway 1 and the southeast borders Lien Chieu Industrial Park.
Right at the entrance to Lang Van, there are now many coffee shops that have sprung up, creating a stopping point for tourists to sightsee and take photos.

According to the detailed planning 1/500 of the Lang Van Tourism and Urban Resort Complex project, the land area under planning research has been reduced from more than 1,067 hectares to more than 512 hectares.
In the adjusted area reduced by more than 555 hectares compared to the original planning, there are 63.3 hectares of natural forest land, 6.4 hectares of natural sandbanks, 6.6 hectares of land overlapping with Lien Chieu port, 2.7 hectares of land for archaeological exploration and excavation, and nearly 477 hectares of sea surface.
