
On this occasion, from Dak Nong province, Mr. Tran Van Men's family visited the complex of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers Monument (Tam Phu commune, Tam Ky city). Mr. Men said that his family wanted to come here to visit the tourist complex and especially to let their children and grandchildren know the heroic history of their ancestors.
“The last time I came here was in 2019. Now that I have the opportunity to return to my hometown Quang Nam, I decided to visit the Monument to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers again. On this occasion, I always want to come here to commemorate the heroic martyrs and to help my descendants understand the historical significance of the relic complex,” said Mr. Men.
Not only Mr. Men but also many tourists come here to offer incense to deeply express gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the Fatherland.



Mr. Ngo Van Dai (Quang Ngai City) on his "backpacking" journey also visited the historical sites in Quang Nam. According to Mr. Dai, the younger generation is always grateful to the previous generation. On this occasion, he and his friends came here to explore the famous landscapes and take photos to commemorate the reunification day as a mark in his youth journey.
“I have heard a lot about the monument of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, which was modeled after Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Thu, but this is the first time I have had the opportunity to visit. The story of Nguyen Thi Thu's life moved us and we were impressed by the sacrifices of so many heroic mothers in this country,” Dai confided.

Ms. Hoang Thi Bich Hanh - Director of the Management Board of Monuments and Landscapes of Quang Nam said that it is estimated that from April 25 to May 1, nearly 3,000 visitors came to visit the Monument of Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, 1,000 more than the previous year.
"This year the weather is hot and unfavorable, but with the reopening of the space displaying images and artifacts of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers after a period of closure for maintenance, the number of visitors is higher than last year. On the other hand, high airfares and hot weather mean that the number of visitors from the locality and neighboring provinces visiting nearby and the Monument to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers is an ideal choice for tourists" - Ms. Hoang Thi Bich Hanh informed.


Recorded at Ky Anh Tunnels (Tam Thang Commune, Tam Ky City), teacher Pham Viet Dung, a teacher at Ho Nghinh High School (Duy Xuyen) and 28 students visited relics in the province, of which Ky Anh Tunnels was one choice.
“On this tour, the school hopes to educate the students about the hardships our ancestors went through during the resistance war against the US to protect national independence. From there, the students will know how to appreciate life in peacetime and try to study to build their homeland,” said Mr. Dung.


Mr. Huynh Kim Ta - Head of Thach Tan village (Tam Thang commune, Tam Ky city) said that since the beginning of March, more than 1,500 visitors have come to visit the Ky Anh Tunnels relic site. Here, visitors can experience the tunnel system, experience the traditional mat making profession in the locality, visit Thach Tan communal house....
