Tay Ninh received illegal workers and residents from Cambodia and signed cooperation agreements with relevant authorities of Cambodia. Tay Ninh promotes the Party's foreign relations with provinces of the Kingdom of Cambodia, especially provinces sharing the border. In 2024, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee led the Provincial People's Committee's Party Committee to direct the Provincial People's Committee to hold a meeting to celebrate the spring of 2024 with provinces sharing the border and organize a delegation to visit, present gifts, and celebrate the traditional New Year at the invitation of provinces of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
The Provincial Steering Committee for External Information regularly pays attention to and directs external information activities, closely following the Party and State's guidelines and policies as well as the province's economic, cultural, social, security, defense and foreign affairs development strategies.
Localities regularly monitor information and public opinion to report to provincial leaders to direct relevant agencies to promptly participate in the fight against and refute the distorted arguments of hostile forces on social networks, and to effectively carry out the task of propagating the foreign policies and guidelines of the Party and State.
In 2024, the province will organize a conference to review and sign two new cooperation agreements with the Administrative Boards of Svay Rieng and Prey Veng provinces for the period 2024 - 2029. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee directed the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to lead the Provincial People's Committee to continue to effectively implement the cooperation agreements signed by the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee (Administrative Boards of Svay Rieng and Prey Veng provinces; Gimhae City Government, South Korea and the Letter of Intent of Friendship Exchange signed between the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee and Chungju City Government, South Korea) and continue to organize the signing with the Administrative Boards of Tboung Khmum Province and Kampong Cham Province of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
Implement the cooperation agreement
On holidays, local elections, and National Assembly elections, Tay Ninh leaders and leaders of neighboring provinces, functional agencies, and border localities of the two provinces regularly organize visits and cultural and artistic exchanges, and all organize delegations to visit each other.
The two sides directed relevant agencies to coordinate and control border areas well, regularly exchange information, and promptly handle arising issues to maintain border security.
Agencies and units in the province have signed cooperation agreements with relevant sectors of border provinces of the Kingdom of Cambodia to continue to coordinate in implementing the signed cooperation agreement, achieving positive results. The implementation of the international agreement has brought about positive results, ensuring security and order; combating and preventing all types of crimes on the border, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.
Implementing the bilateral cooperation program, Tay Ninh province and Gimhae city invited the Korean delegation to attend the Ba Den Mountain Spring Festival in 2024. On this occasion, Tay Ninh Provincial Pedagogical College signed a memorandum of understanding with Injie University, Korea and at the invitation of the Mayor of Gimhae city, the Tay Ninh provincial delegation came to attend and exchange culture and arts at the Gaya cultural festival in 2024.
People's diplomacy
Implementing the Party and State's policy of innovation and international integration, along with focusing on economic, cultural - social, security - defense development, improving people's lives, foreign affairs, cultural exchange, and people-to-people cooperation are of interest to the entire provincial political system.
That contributes to actively promoting the image, strengthening friendly cooperation between the province and international friends, mobilizing many resources for the development of the province, focusing on people-to-people diplomacy with border provinces of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
Socio-political organizations in the province have organized training courses on international integration, current affairs information, competitions on international integration, and organized delegations to visit on the occasion of traditional holidays of the two nations.
Tay Ninh regularly propagates to cadres, union members, youth and people to respect and promote solidarity and friendship, and coordinate well in the work of maintaining border security and social order and safety. Thereby, contributing to strengthening the traditional friendship and solidarity between the two nations, building a peaceful, friendly and developed border.
