Many urban areas in the south of the capital are connected by a newly opened road.

The project of the road connecting the eastern road of Hoang Mai district administrative area to Tam Trinh street started construction in 2019. The project is invested by Hoang Mai district Investment and Construction Project Management Board.

The project had to be delayed many times due to site clearance issues and the contractor had to wait for the weak ground to be treated. On November 10, this route was opened to traffic and a sign was placed on it indicating a city-level project.

This new route connects to the route to reduce traffic flow from Phap Van - Cau Gie highway, beltway 3 into the center of Hanoi.

The route is about 2km long, with a total investment of 504 billion VND. The cross-section of the road is 30m, including a 15m wide roadway with 4 lanes, and a 7.5m wide sidewalk on each side.

Notably, the opening of the road has opened up traffic connections for a series of urban areas, solving the difficult travel problems of people in this area and neighboring areas.

Many years ago, the unsynchronized development of planning infrastructure caused residents of some urban areas to be left without roads. Only now, when this route is open to traffic, has the problem of convenient travel and traffic connections been resolved.

In addition, a new real estate price level for real estate in some urban areas has also been established due to the great benefits from this route. The selling price of a 63m2 townhouse in Ao Sao urban area is about 18 billion VND, equivalent to nearly 286 million VND/m2.

The road through Thinh Liet urban area has not been developed yet, the land has been abandoned and wasted for many years.

In addition, a series of other large urban areas such as Louis City, Gamuda Gardens, Gelexia Riverside are conveniently connected by this newly opened route.

Benefiting from this route, residents of the above urban areas can travel to the administrative area of ​​Hoang Mai district or to the gateway of Phap Van and the Phap Van - Cau Gie highway in just 5-10 minutes.

Since the new road was built, the people here "feel like they have a new life". The price of townhouses in the Louis City project has also been pushed up from 170-200 million VND to 300 million VND/m2.

The bridge over Set River is now spacious, no longer has the situation of garbage piling up regularly, causing pollution and emitting a strong stench like before.

The road is open to traffic, new houses on the asphalt road are built and repaired for business and bustling trade.

The route is of great significance, being the main route in a part of the overall traffic planning, solving the difficult travel of people in this area and neighboring areas. In particular, the route will connect with Tam Trinh road, leading to Ring Road 3, Ring Road 2.5, opening up a new step in traffic development and promoting the socio-economic development of Hoang Mai district.
