In 2024, under the leadership and direction of the Party Committee, the Border Guard Command, the City Party Committee, and the City People's Committee; with the coordination of news agencies and newspapers, the propaganda coordination work of the Hue City Border Guard Command has innovated in content and form, developing strongly in both breadth and depth. In 2024, 290 news articles and reports were coordinated to propagate, an increase of 15 reports, news articles and articles compared to 2023.

Leaders, cadres, reporters, and editors of news agencies and newspapers have always paid attention to and accompanied the Hue City Border Guard Command in all areas of work, promptly worked, reported, contributed to propaganda, and raised people's awareness of the border and islands. At the same time, the press has actively contributed to preventing negative manifestations, protecting the right, honoring and spreading good things, making the image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" - the Border Guard soldiers, the soldiers in green uniforms shine brighter.

Mr. Truong Dien Thong, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Hue Today Newspaper, proposed some solutions.

Many opinions were discussed, pointing out the causes as well as drawing some experiences to make the coordination of propaganda work between the City Border Guard Command and press agencies more effective in the coming time.

“Entering 2025 with many opportunities and challenges, promoting the achieved results, the Hue City Border Guard Command hopes that leaders, reporters, and editors of press agencies will continue to accompany and coordinate in propagating and providing complete, timely, and extensive information about the border and sea areas, encouraging and motivating officers, soldiers, and people in border areas; contributing to promoting the role and responsibility of all levels, sectors, and the whole society in participating in managing and firmly protecting the territorial sovereignty, border security, sea, and islands of the Fatherland” - Colonel Pham Tung Lam, Party Secretary, Political Commissar of the Hue City Border Guard emphasized.
