(QNO) - A traffic accident occurred early this morning, April 27, on National Highway 1, leaving one person dead.
The accident occurred at around 5:30 a.m. on National Highway 1 in Binh Tu Commune (Thang Binh). The tractor with license plate 43C-118.98 pulling a trailer with license plate 43R-026.01 was traveling from Da Nang to Quang Nam. When it reached the above location, it collided with a motorbike with license plate 92F1-29191 traveling in the same direction.
The accident killed the motorcyclist.
According to records, at the time of the accident, it was raining and the road surface was wet. The route was straight, with 4 lanes for motor vehicles, no lanes for non-motorized vehicles, and was located outside of residential areas, so the traffic signs were in effect.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
