Meta announced that it will deploy the Meta AI virtual assistant in many countries, including Vietnam, in the next few weeks.
Meta, Facebook's parent company, said it will roll out Meta AI in 21 new regions globally. Starting October 9, Meta's AI assistant will be available in six countries: Brazil, Guatemala, Bolivia, Paraguay, the Philippines, and the United Kingdom.
“In the coming weeks,” Meta AI will be available in several other countries, including Vietnam, in Vietnamese. However, Facebook’s parent company did not disclose the exact timing for each market.

European Union countries are still unable to use Meta's new tools due to regulatory concerns within the bloc.
Users can use Meta AI on the web via meta.ai or in Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger apps. Just click on the Meta AI icon or type @Meta AI in the chat window to start using this feature.
With 21 new markets, Meta AI will be available in 43 countries and support more than 10 languages. Meta says the tool is on track to become the world's most used AI assistant by the end of 2024, with nearly 500 million monthly users.
Previously, on October 1, during his visit to Vietnam, Meta's Chairman of External Affairs Nick Clegg affirmed that Vietnam will be one of the first countries to deploy Meta AI and use Vietnamese, completely free of charge.
With the Quest 3S virtual reality glasses being produced domestically, Meta is placing its faith in Vietnam's successful development in the future.
