Tan Loc people focus on developing large livestock farming.

Tan Thanh village (Tan Loc commune) is a semi-mountainous area and the residents here have known how to take advantage of it to develop the economy. In the condition of little rice land, people have promoted livestock farming associated with planting raw material forests. The planted forests and large herds of cattle have helped Tan Thanh village eliminate hunger, reduce poverty sustainably, and change the rural picture in all aspects.

Mr. Nguyen Doan Chau - Head of Tan Thanh village said: "In addition to the forest for paper production (average 3-5ha/household), the number of buffaloes and cows in our village is always the highest in the commune. Out of 145 households/more than 600 people in the village, about 135 households raise buffaloes and cows, some families raise up to 12 cows. Raising cattle has helped many households have a good income, improving their lives with a profit of about 500 - 600 thousand VND/cow/month".

Similar to Tan Thanh village, people in the mountainous areas of Loc Ha have taken advantage of the potential and advantages of large land and fertile soil to develop livestock farming. Currently, in the hilly area, there are 6 concentrated livestock farms, 18 farms raising cows with a scale of 10 - 30 heads, 12 farms raising pigs with a scale of less than 50 heads and about 10,000 households raising livestock on a household scale (6,643 households raising buffaloes and cows, 772 households raising pigs, the rest raising poultry).

Localities along the foothills also have livestock herds accounting for about 2/3 of the total herd of the district (the whole district currently has 10,250 buffaloes and cows, nearly 10,000 pigs, 289,000 poultry), the hybridization rate of cattle herds reaches 70% (the whole district is about 60%)...
