Euro 2024 Finals Fixtures

Accordingly, the Euro 2024 finals will take place in 10 cities in Germany with 24 participating teams. This promises to be an exciting and dramatic tournament. The opening match will be a confrontation between the host team Germany and Scotland at 2:00 a.m. on June 15 (Vietnam time).

All 24 teams have confirmed their official squads for Euro 2024. The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has also officially allowed teams participating in the Euro 2024 finals to increase their squad size to 26 players instead of 23 as before. The statement from European football's governing body stated: "The UEFA Executive Committee has today decided to increase the maximum squad size of teams participating in the upcoming UEFA Euro 2024 to 26 players, compared to the original quota of 23 players. This increase does not represent an obligation for the national football associations participating in the tournament."

VAR will be in operation throughout Euro 2024. In each match, there will be one VAR in charge along with two VAR assistants and three video operators. The VAR system will be located at the football technology centre in Leipzig. Like in the Premier League, VAR will check for obvious errors related to goals, penalties, red cards, etc.

The 24 teams participating in Euro 2024 are divided into 6 groups of 4 teams each. Each team will play 3 matches in the group, with the top 2 teams from each group advancing to the knockout round. Meanwhile, the 4 third-placed teams with the best results in the 6 groups will also qualify for the next round.
