Match schedule of U23 Vietnam at the 2024 AFC U23 Championship

According to the schedule of the 2024 AFC U23 Championship taking place in Qatar from April 15 to May 3, U23 Vietnam is in Group D with U23 Uzbekistan, Kuwait and Malaysia. According to the schedule, U23 Vietnam will play its opening match against U23 Kuwait on April 17. In the next two matches, the U23 Vietnam team will meet U23 Malaysia on April 20 and meet U23 Uzbekistan on April 23.

According to the plan, U23 Vietnam will gather to practice at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center from April 5, 2024. However, due to the V.League schedule, Coach Hoang Anh Tuan will not be able to have full squad until April 6.

Vietnam U23 team will have 2 days of training at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center before leaving for Qatar on April 8. There, the team will play a friendly match with Jordan U23 team on April 10, thereby completing the final preparation step before officially competing in the continental U23 arena.
