On the afternoon of April 27, the GAM Esports team of League of Legends (LMHT) held a ceremony to prepare for the Mid-Season Invitational 2023 in London, England. This is considered the second largest tournament of the year in the world of LMHT and gathers the strongest teams in the world.
In the VCS Dawn 2023 season, GAM eSports won the championship with overwhelming strength when winning all (17 wins - 0 losses). This is the 8th trophy of GAM eSports and the first time they have stepped onto the highest podium in the domestic arena 3 times in a row. In the history of Vietnamese LoL, this achievement is considered "unprecedented".

In this tournament, the reigning VCS champion is in the same group A in the opening round with Golden Guardians (North America runner-up), Bilibili Gaming (China runner-up), Rainbow7 (Latin America champion). Gam Esport's bracket is considered difficult because North America and China are both strong regions of the world's LoL.
However, GAM Esports always has a quality and stable force, so it is expected to bring surprises. The Vietnamese representative always has an explosive, bold style of play, typical of VCS - a weapon that makes many large regions in the world wary.
At the launch, the GAM Esports leadership announced the new jersey. The Vietnamese representative wants to bring the country's image and culture to the international arena. Compared to the jersey used in the 2022 World Finals, GAM eSports only changed the color and kept the main motifs of Lac birds and Dong Son bronze drums.
The Esport movement has been growing in Vietnam in recent years.
On April 28, GAM eSports will leave for London to attend MSI 2023. The team will have their opening match with Golden Guardians at 10pm on May 3.
