Provincial leaders work with the Provincial Center for Health Protection of Officials

DTO - On February 12, Mr. Phan Van Thang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council had a working session with the Provincial Center for Health Protection of Cadres. Attending the meeting were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board, the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Department of Home Affairs, the Department of Health and related units.

At the meeting, the representative of the Provincial Center for Health Protection of Officials reported on the unit's activities in the past time. Accordingly, the Provincial Center for Health Protection of Officials is a public service unit under Dong Thap General Hospital, established on December 27, 2024, on the basis of arranging and transferring the functions and tasks of the Clinic and Health Management of Officials under the Provincial Department of Health Protection and Care for Officials. After more than 1 month of operation, the Provincial Center for Health Protection of Officials has focused on implementing assigned tasks to improve the effectiveness of health care and protection for officials in the province.

At the same time, the representative of the provincial Center for Health Protection of Cadres informed about some difficulties and problems in the process of operation, focusing on contents such as: pharmaceutical work, testing chemicals, medical equipment; financial work, funding for periodic health check-ups, health check-ups before appointment, reappointment and regular health check-ups for cadres...

Thereby, representatives of leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors attended the working session to discuss and exchange to clarify advantages and difficulties, suggest and orient solutions to overcome difficulties, and improve the quality of activities of the Provincial Center for Health Protection of Cadres in the coming time.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Phan Van Thang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee to coordinate with relevant units to orient and support the Provincial Center for Health Protection of Cadres to soon complete the operating regulations to perform well the unit's tasks in the coming time. At the same time, promptly record, grasp the situation, coordinate with relevant units to support the Provincial Center for Health Protection of Cadres in removing difficulties and obstacles; ensure salary and allowance mechanisms; advise on solving arising problems, contributing to helping the Provincial Center for Health Protection of Cadres operate more effectively. In addition, the Provincial Center for Health Protection of Cadres needs to focus on building a specific operational roadmap, suitable to the practical situation; pay attention to upgrading facilities, improving the quality of professional activities; Strengthen coordination between units and localities to improve operational efficiency, contributing to the effective implementation of health care and protection for cadres in the province.
