With 22 papers presented at the conference, researchers contributed to proving the great contributions of the Ho Ha Tinh clan to the historical and cultural progress of the nation.

On the morning of August 12, at Thanh Sen High School (Ha Tinh City), the Institute for Cultural Research and Preservation (under the Vietnam Union of Science Associations) jointly organized the scientific workshop "Ho Family of Ha Tinh in the flow of national cultural history". The workshop was chaired by: Professor, Doctor Ho Trong Ngu - Director of the Institute for Cultural Research and Preservation; Doctor Ho Canh Son - Head of the Ho family research group in Vietnam; Doctor Doan Minh Dien - Principal of Thanh Sen High School (Ha Tinh City); Master Nguyen Tri Son - Chairman of the Ha Tinh Historical Science Association and representatives of the Ho family in Ha Tinh. Attending the workshop were Head of the Organizing Committee of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee Vo Hong Hai, representatives of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors, cultural and historical researchers nationwide, and representatives of the Ho family in Nghe An and Quang Binh provinces. |

According to many documents left behind, the Ho family has been present in Ha Tinh for dozens of centuries. Together with other families, from the first ancestor to later descendants, the Ho family has made many contributions to building the homeland of Hong Mountain, La River in particular and the country in general.
The workshop aims to continue researching and clarifying the history of the Ho family in the process of formation and development in Ha Tinh; the family's contributions to the development of the homeland and the country.

The workshop aims to closely follow 5 objectives: Clarifying and building a family genealogy system, starting from the first ancestor; pointing out the generations, sects, branches, and sub-branches, helping branches with lost genealogical records find their roots and connect with ancestors and lineages; equipping knowledge of family history, as an inseparable part of the history of the nation and country, thereby educating the tradition of love for the homeland and country of descendants of the family; creating a correct mindset for brothers and descendants in the family, proud of the traditions of ancestors; honoring and promoting the cultural values of the Ho family in Ha Tinh to descendants and in the community.
Dr. Doan Minh Dien - Principal of Thanh Sen High School presented a paper "The Ho family in Vietnam during the Ly - Tran dynasties and historical and cultural relics in Ha Tinh with the Ho family's imprint".
The scientific conference “The Ho family in Ha Tinh in the flow of national cultural history” received 22 papers. At the program, researchers and authors presented papers revolving around 3 main topics: the appearance and development of the Ho family in Ha Tinh; An Nam Nhat Ho and the founder of the Ho family in Vietnam and the role of the Ho family in Ha Tinh in the flow of national history.
Mr. Ho Viet Anh - Chairman of Ha Tinh Tourism Association discussed some hypotheses about Ho Khuoc temple in Dinh Ban commune - the person considered the ancestor of Ho family in Ha Tinh.
The workshop is expected to take place over 1 day (August 12).
