Lost in the ancient rhododendron forest on the top of Tay Con Linh

From February to April every year is the season when rhododendron flowers on Tay Con Linh peak (Cao Bo commune, Vi Xuyen district, Ha Giang province) bloom brilliantly to welcome visitors.

Tay Con Linh special-use forest covers over 15 thousand hectares, of which more than 5 thousand hectares have rhododendron trees, concentrated in Cao Bo commune.

Rhododendrons here are mostly tens to hundreds of years old.

Compared to the beauty of Xi Shi, rhododendron flowers bloom in red, inviting visitors to the top of Tay Con Linh.

Rhododendron flowers in Tay Con Linh do not bloom simultaneously.

Flowers at the bottom will bloom first and bloom in order to reach the top.

According to locals, the rhododendron forest here is hundreds of years old and is strictly protected.

This flower is also considered the symbol of Vi Xuyen.

In 2023, Vi Xuyen district will organize the Rhododendron Flower Festival for the first time to promote its image to tourists.
