Groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the “Red Scarf” house for students in difficult circumstances in Vinh Niem ward, Le Chan district

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of March 21, the Youth Union of the City's Enterprise Bloc coordinated with Vinh Niem Ward, Le Chan District to organize the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the "Red Scarf" House for students in difficult circumstances in Vinh Niem Ward. This is an activity to celebrate the 93rd Anniversary of the Founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2024).

Attending the event were comrades: Le Huu Toan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Business Bloc Party Committee; Pham Van Tan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Le Chan District; Pham Viet Anh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Le Chan District.

The Youth Union of the City Business Bloc in collaboration with Vinh Niem Ward organized the groundbreaking ceremony for the “Red Scarf” House for the family of Pham Thi Yen and Pham Thi Lan, students of class 6D6 at Vinh Niem Secondary School, currently living at 5C/5 Vinh Cat, Vinh Niem Ward. Their family situation is very difficult, the level 4 house their family is living in has an area of 46m2, is dilapidated and seriously degraded. The family itself does not have the conditions to rebuild the house.

With the spirit of "Mutual love - The rich help the poor", with the attention of organizations, units and businesses, we have supported the construction of the "Red Scarf" House with a total current budget of 250 million VND.

Supporting the reconstruction of dilapidated houses will create conditions for children and their families to have more spacious housing, so that they can study and practice with peace of mind, and have more motivation to improve in life.

The family representative expressed gratitude for the support of agencies, departments, branches and organizations that supported the construction of the house and promised to work with the schoolto educate the children to become good people and useful citizens for the country.
