Head of the City Party Committee's Propaganda Department meets with voters residing in An Bien ward, Le Chan district

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the evening of November 18, in An Bien ward (Le Chan district), delegates of the City People's Council, including comrades: Dao Khanh Ha, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the City Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Pham Hong Minh, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company, met with voters at their place of residence to prepare for the regular meeting at the end of 2024 of the City People's Council, term XVI, term 2021 - 2026.

Attending the meeting were comrade Tran Thu Huong, member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of Le Chan District Party Committee; leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Bien district and ward.

At the meeting, voters of An Bien ward were informed about the time, content of the meeting and important contents expected to be considered, decided and approved by the City People's Council at the meeting.

Voters of An Bien Ward, Le Chan District expressed their agreement with the proposed agenda of the regular year-end session of the 16th City People's Council. In the context of many fluctuations in the world situation, Hai Phong suffered many damages after Storm No. 3 last September, voters acknowledged and highly appreciated the city's efforts in maintaining economic growth momentum associated with social security.

Voters of An Bien ward proposed opinions to the city on a number of areas directly related to urban order management and improving people's lives. In particular, it was recommended that the city and district pay attention to repairing and supplementing the lighting system; have a plan to coordinate traffic on Nguyen Duc Canh and Quang Trung streets to reduce congestion during rush hour; arrange more car parking spots in the city. Voters also proposed that the railway line passing through the district is currently narrow and the security and order situation is relatively complicated, and requested that the city have a plan to manage and renovate it.

On behalf of the City People's Council delegates, Comrade Dao Khanh Ha, Head of the City Party Committee's Propaganda Department, respectfully thanked and accepted the enthusiastic and responsible contributions of voters of An Bien Ward; at the same time, informed about the city's socio-economic highlights in 2024 and discussed and answered a number of issues and contents of voters' recommendations. Regarding other opinions, he accepted and will report at the regular meeting at the end of 2024 of the City People's Council.
