On the morning of January 1, Quang Ninh province held the inauguration ceremony of Binh Minh Bridge after 3 years of construction.

Attending the ceremony were Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Xuan Ky, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee Cao Tuong Huy and many people of Ha Long City.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee Cao Tuong Huy highly appreciated the efforts of the investor and contractors to soon complete the project and put it into use, promote investment efficiency, and meet the expectations of the people and tourists.

After 3 years of implementation, Binh Minh Bridge was inaugurated and put into use at the beginning of the new year.

Binh Minh Bridge across Dien Vong River (Cua Luc Bay) is over 2.6km long, designed with 6 lanes, starting at Ha Khanh Ward, ending at National Highway 279, in Thong Nhat Commune, Ha Long City. The project was implemented from the end of 2020, with a total investment of over 1,700 billion VND from the provincial budget.

Binh Minh Bridge is considered to have made a breakthrough in the Vietnamese bridge construction industry so far, marking great strides in management, operation and construction. It is the first bridge in Quang Ninh province with 6 lanes for motor vehicles and a structure of 5 continuous steel arches. On both sides of the bridge there are sidewalks for pedestrians, a viewing platform and flower beds to create a tourist landscape.

After its inauguration, Cua Luc 3 Bridge will help shorten the travel time from Hon Gai to Hoanh Bo and vice versa; at the same time, it will promote the land area of ​​the old Hoanh Bo district, expanding the development space of Ha Long city.
