With a unique and beautiful design, the Theater is designed according to the model of the one in Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa) attracting many tourists to visit and take photos to check-in.
That Theater was built in Bai Tien, Vinh Hoa ward (Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa), about 8km north of Nha Trang city center. The design of the building was inspired by the “that”, a traditional Vietnamese fishing tool, to build the theater. The building was inaugurated last April. The theater is about 20m high, with a total area of 2,500m2. The model is made of steel frame, painted metallic gold. The exterior decoration of the theater is coral branches interspersed with pearls. With its unique and beautiful design, the Do Theater has recently attracted many tourists when coming to Nha Trang. Currently, the theater does not sell tickets outside, but collects money when tourists come to visit and take photos. Tourists come to visit and check-in at That Theater. Ms. Le Van Lan (a tourist from Bac Ninh) shared: "That Theater has a design that is both familiar and unique. I really enjoy coming to Nha Trang to enjoy the fresh air, sea breeze and check-in at this place." Decorative landscape in front of That Theater. Inside the Theater, there are more than 500 seats. According to the representative of the theater management unit, the entire mechanical system, stage techniques, sound, and lighting inside the theater are imported. A lake is arranged in the middle of the stage for puppeteers to perform. It is known that each play has different types of puppetry such as water puppetry, string puppetry, shadow puppetry, animated puppetry combined with contemporary dance with the guidance of music. There are 12 bicycles, 6 on each side of the stage, for the artists to use to perform string puppetry. Artists practice before a new show.
